Firehouse18 celebrated its First Annual Family Picnic on Saturday, a C Shift. It was a well planned affair organized by LT Ramage, and LT Kruger. The Jervy Gant Park was chosen for its pavillion and playgrounds. The picnic staple of hot dogs and hamburgers was cooked using the Union grill.
Family members of all ages were present and enjoyed the time together. Other guests included Division Chief David Cooper, Battalion Chief Robert Ramage, and District Captain Dan Clifford.
After lunch a barely organized game of kickball began with the "Over 30's" vs. the "Under 30's". After a dazzling perfomrance the "Under 30's" won in an 8-2 battle. The game MVP was awarded to Chief Ramage who managed to score both points for his team and then scale the dugout fence like a ninja.
